Medicine, Dr. Shahram Shekib
maintains a private practice in
Brooklyn and New York, New
York. Dr. Shekib has training
and experience in all phases of
dentistry with a strong emphasis
in Comprehensive Aesthetic
Restorative and Implant
Dentistry.
His extensive experience with
Complex Cosmetic Procedures
includes: Laser Aesthetic
Surgery, Invisalign,
Dental-Facial Rejuvenation, and
Implantology.
Dr. Shekib has spent a
considerable portion of the past
several years refining and
improving his knowledge and
skills. He successfully
completed the General Practice
Residency program at New York
Flushing Hospital and Implant
Residency program at Montefiore
Medical Center, New York, where
he was trained and certified in
surgical placement and
restoration of various implant
systems.
In addition, he was awarded the
Certificate of Achievement in
Sophisticated Cosmetic
Procedures by The Rosenthal
Institute (Aesthetic Advantage,
Inc.) at New York University
College of Dentistry. He was
also trained and certified in
the administration of Enteral
Conscious Sedation at NYU and in
the administration of Botox for
the treatment of TMJ Disorders
and Migraine Headaches at
Saint-Roosevelt Hospital.
Additionally, he is certified by
The Aesthetic Enhancement
Institute in application of
Botox and Dermal Fillers
(Restylane). Dr. Shekib is
well-trained in the diagnosis
and treatment of Sleep Apnea and
Snoring by the American Academy
of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Shekib is a fellow of
American Academy of General
Dentistry and World Clinical
Laser Institute, as well as a
member of American Dental
Association, California Dental
Association, Dental Society
State of New York, American
Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry,
American Academy of Oral and
Maxilla-Facial Radiology, and
New York Dental Forum.
Dr. Shekib is active in several
professional societies,
including serving on the Board
of Trustees for The Nassau
Physicians Foundation, The
Hadassah Organization, Second
District Dental Society of State
of New York and The Sephardic
American Medical Society. He is
also an active member and the
chairman of several committees
including Peer Review, Insurance
Dental Benefits, and Government
Affairs at Brooklyn Dental
Society of State of New York. In
addition, he is a dental
consultant for Clinicians Report
Foundation and Women’s Health
Net.
Dr. Shekib has a special
interest in teaching the Art of
Clinical Dentistry. He is a
Clinical Dental Attending at
Maimonides Medical Center, as
well as a Clinical Assistant
Professor of Restorative
Department at Columbia
University College of Dental
Medicine.
He is well-known for his

his caring attitude towards his
patients’ needs.
